Failure to Attend and Cancellation Policy

Non Attendance and Late Cancellation Policy

We always aim to treat all our patients fairly and impartially. Patients’ who do not give adequate notice to cancel an appointment or fails to attend an appointment deprives other patients from the care that could have been available to them.
This practice requires a minimum of 24 working hours’ notice for cancellation of appointments with the Dentist and Hygienist.

Dental Appointments

Failure to give 24 hours’ notice to cancel your appointment will be noted as “Failed to Attend”.
We reserve the right to refuse further treatment to patients who fail to attend three appointments or newly registered patients miss their first appointment.

This could potentially mean removal from the practice registration list. We have a 10 minute grace period for late appointments, this will depend on the appointment time and length.

Hygienist & Private Appointments

Up to 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.

24 working hours’ notice is required to to cancel a Hygienist appointment; otherwise you will forfeit your deposit.

Remember – Non-attendance or short notice cancellation is surgery time lost that may have been filled by other patients who could have had their treatment sooner.

Thank you for your co-operation.
